We woke up on President's Day to sunny blue skies. We decided to hike Angel's Rest on the Columbia Gorge. The hike was 4.6 miles with a rise in elevation of 1,600 feet. For those of you who don't know the area the hike was near Multnomah Falls off of I-84. Here area few pictures from our hike.
One of the waterfalls on the hike.
Ferns were everywhere and grew like crazy.

We made it to the top where we had a beautiful view of the Columbia River.
Can you guess which direction the wind was blowing at the top of the hike?

So fun!! Way to take advantage of the the holiday. Where do you hear about these places??
I LOVE that picture of the tree!
That hike looks pretty sweet! Could you notice the change of elevation while you guys were hiking? Or was it really gradual?
