Saturday Trace and I went to a botanical garden on the east side of the island- Ho'omaluhia Park. It means peace and tranquility. One of the prettiest gardens I have been to with Koolau mountain range as the backdrop.
This flower has flowers inside the flower!
Later that day we went to Kualoa Beach Park with this island- Chinaman's Hat- just off the coast.
That evening we went to a Bon Dance. This Japanese festival honors the spirits of family members that have passed away. It was packed and the Japanese dancing was fun to watch.
