Trace took the WREB (Western Regional Exam Board) over memorial day weekend. This is the required test to get a dental license in 36 states. It consists of two written tests and a 3-day practical test requiring two root canals, two fillings, and perio cleaning. Very expensive test and even more expensive if you don't pass because you have to transport patients to the testing location which is only in Portland once a year. It was a stressful week, here is a photo on the last day.
Everyone in his class was so worried the next week, recounting their horror stories of the weekend as they awaited the results. I got this text message from Trace while I was at work. He passed! In fact 98.75% of the class passed, the highest rate in OHSU history. Woohooo! Good job Trace- you can officially pay the state of Oregon and take another test to get a license to practice dentistry :)
