Stained in every human bodily fluid,
These shoes have protected my feet from nursing school
through the halls of every hospital I've worked.
Torn and squeaking from walking 12 hour shifts,
sometimes 7 shifts a week.
Goodbye shoes.
It's time to go.

They actually let you wear those shoes in the hospital environment? Yucky! Glad they're gone....hoping for a great retirement with "Kalina-Deana" oh well, it rhymed!
Ha ha...I love this. If only every psair of loyal shoes could receive such respect.
Wow! Those are pretty nasty! I just bought some black nurse shoes...they probably are nasty but I can't tell because they are black! Woowoo! Happy retirement!
Way to be frugal! I love a good pair of well broken in, experienced shoes. Those shoes have had way more than any of my shoes. So what do your new shoes look like. I love the vibrant new colors that are out now. Hope to see you while you are here:)
