Monday we went huckleberry picking. Everyone except Tara dropped their berries on the ground. Oops! That was my first huckleberry experience. For non-huckleberry pickers, they look a lot like blueberries but are much smaller and do not grow in groups like blueberries. It takes a while to pick them, no wonder they cost $40 per gallon.
8/18/09 - Headed north to West Glacier, Montana. The drive was bee central. When we got out at this pit stop our grill was covered in black and yellow bugs. :(
One goal of this trip was to practice camping. Neither of us have camped that much. We used our wedding gift cards to acquire a tent and camping gear (Thanks again for all the wedding gifts). Rather than going full out, we are easing our way in to the camping experience. We know it was wussy but we opted to stay at KOA where we could sleep in our tent but still have water and showers. There it is on the map.

How funny!! But I'm with you on your style of camping! And I'm more of a wuss, I don't thing I'll make it past the KOA onto the bigger side of camping:) I love hearing about your trip! I can't wait to see you guys for the wedding!
This is the beginning of another side of you two...someday you will be hiking over the mountains...maybe to get away from all the people who want you to help them (since there are always medical emergencies!) :) Colorado has awesome camping! :)
That sounds like our kind of camping. We like to have bathrooms around and have the safety of being in some sort of camp ground(no bears:) or freaky mountain men:)...or big foot)
We should all go camping sometime!
