13 months

22 lbs, 30 inches
8 teeth with left upper and lower molars on their way
During this last month:
-Picking up a new word everyday and she practices saying it (moon, eye, book, star, no, elmo)
-She likes to brush her teeth with mom, if I forget to give her a toothbrush she will signal and moan until I hand her one
-Knows many of her body parts eyes, tummy, toes, teeth, tongue, hair, and ears
-Knows sounds for fish, sheep, lion, monkey, cow, horse
-still takes two 2-hour naps as long as we are home, she really loves her sleep
-started going to nursery at church
-loves dress up, necklaces, hats, glasses
-finally found a sippee cup she can and will use! Yay! She never took a bottle and I tried a few cups that didn't pan out.
 -Had her first kiss

She's getting so big! Look at her all stretched out!

If we go into a store with stuffed animals she will grab it look at it tenderly, kiss it and hug it like she's never seen one before. After this happened a few times I realized she doesn't actually have a stuffed animal at home. So I picked her up a teddy bear from Goodwill for a quarter. She loved him! Until he got thrown from the stroller one night never to be seen again. Later we replaced him with another Goodwill find, Elmo!

Maui is much more accessible than Honolulu. We got tickets to Sesame Street Live for $7! That would have never happened in Honolulu. She was glued for first hour and half and wiggly for the last 20 minutes. We watch Elmo online at home and really, really, really likes him. They were selling Elmo balloons at intermission and after the show. She was pointing and grunting towards the balloons. So I decided sure I could swing for a $3 or even $5 balloon. Nope $10! Sorry baby Estelle.

We moved out of our vacation rental condo and into an apartment. 2bed/2bath. And Estelle is sleeping into her own room! The 750 sqft seems like a mansion compared to our 540 sq ft in Honolulu. It even comes with resident Peacocks.

Loves to put things on and over her head. If I leave any of my clothes in her reach she will put them on. Yep, that's a bra.

First Kiss! Maui is awesome. They have free family movie nights at the MACC (Maui Arts and Community Center). Perched on the grass snuggled in your own blankets you get to watch a movie in front of a giant screen, with surround sound, food from local vendors, and a beautiful mountain backdrop. We watched Disney's Up. Estelle had so much fun before the show running around with other kids and sat through the entire movie! Toward the end a little boy a year or so older came up to her. He kissed her forehead so she put her arms out for a hug. He kneels, ducks under her arms and plants a kiss right on the lips! No more VL for this little girl.
