Fruit of the Loom

This year for Halloween we decided to be the Fruit of the Loom with our neighbors, Dalein and Bryant Hoer. Dalein and I made the giant underwear Friday afternoon and made the hats, apple, and leaf late Friday night. Unfortunately we got all dressed up in our apartment and hadn't factored in the elevator or the car. It was a bit tight. Trace's leaf costume also lost us some grapes when we all got in the underwear together. Saturday night we went to the ward Halloween party and then to Chinatown where the street was PACKED.  The bishop's wife runs up to us and says, "Hanes! I love it!" After that, Trace insisted on calling out Fruit of the Loom wherever we went as to not be misidentified. Monday we walked down Waikiki in the underwear the entire time. Waikiki was pretty busy with both costume wearers and photo-taking bystanders. I'm not a big fan of getting my picture taken but there was no stopping the thousands of people who were taking our photo that night.

Funny thing. Dalein went to work the next day and saw a coworker showing a fellow coworker a picture of the best costume from the night before. It was us, the Fruit of the Loom!

So fun!! How did you guys come up with the idea? Was it hard to walk right next to eachother? So funny about the elevator/car situations!!

I love this costume. I think it nearly surpasses our ninja turtle Halloween back in the dorms.
