Weekend Trip to Baker

So I am new to blogging but we will see how it goes. Trace and I went to Baker this last weekend to trade berries with his parents and attend a friend's wedding reception. Unfortunately, the birds beat us to most of the berries so we only picked Saturday morning. However, after berry picking we noticed one on the cows limping. Trace's dad, Dean, chased that cow around the pasture and into the trailer to take it to the vet or the butcher. Fortunately for the cow it was just a hurt foot which got cleaned and bandaged. The trip was busy and fun. We made it back to Portland with raspberries, zucchini, and zucchini bread!
